The goal of this research is to develop technological and "smart" complex building skin systems, particularly façades, through the development of “emerging technologies”1 and of a reputable multidisciplinary approach. The awareness that innovation in architecture, but also generally in science, is essential to provide concrete answers to issues of general interest, such as energy resources consumption and the obsolescence of construction systems that have been used so far, makes research fundamental and priority.
